The Middlesex County History Day will be returning to East Jersey Old Town Village from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 5. Old Town Village is located inside Johnson Park at 1050 River Road in Piscataway. The site-wide celebration will be filled with demonstrations, performances, and other family-friendly activities. Demonstrations will include blacksmithing, open-hearth cooking, yarn spinning, weaving, chair caning, antique clocks, lacemaking and 19th-century decorative painting techniques. Members of the Dunellen Historical Society, including author John Triolo will have a booth in the History Tent which will also feature exhibits and displays by other historical societies and groups.
