Two Middlesex County women were injured on Friday, February 24 when their vehicles collided during the evening’s rush hour. The accident occurred at 5:37 PM at the intersection of First Street and North Washington Avenue. According to Dunellen Police Sergeant Jeffrey Del Buono, a Dunellen resident driving a 2013 Hyundai, east on First Street failed to stop at the stop sign on First Street and North Washington Avenue. An Edison resident driving south on North Washington Avenue in a 2016 Subaru collided into the Hyundai. Four hospitalized after car crash

Four people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident at 11:20 am on April 6 at the intersection of South Washington Avenue and Walnut Street. According to Sergeant Jeffrey Del Buono of the Dunellen Police Department’s Traffic Safety Division, one of the vehicles was traveling north on South Washington Avenue and failed to stop for a red light. The second vehicle was traveling east on Walnut Street and collided with the other vehicle in the intersection. One of the vehicles then struck a telephone pole. The 45-year-old driver of one of the vehicles and her 66-year-old passenger were transported by ambulance to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital-Somerset. Continue Reading →
