In 2016, Dunellen residents will continue to expect recycling pickups every other Wednesday, but there will be no printed schedule sent to households.
As of March 30, 2015, the Middlesex County Improvement Authority has transitioned to single-stream recycling collection. Now all curbside recyclable items, such as bottles, cans, paper and small flat cardboard can be mixed together in a single recycling container as they are kept separate from trash.
