Dunellen Police Report | November 2015

On 11/29/15 @ 11:40pm – A Plainfield resident was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Dunellen Avenue. The vehicle was stopped for making an illegal right on red at North and Washington Avenues. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he was found to be over double the legal limit. He was processed and later released to a sober party.

On 11/29/15 @ 5:45pm – A Dunellen resident was arrested and charged with three counts of contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Walnut Street. The vehicle was stopped for having false plates and one of the passengers was not wearing a seatbelt. The passenger was found to have three outstanding warrants out for his arrest. He was arrested and processed and later posted bail.

On 11/27/15 @ 1:27am – A Piscataway resident was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Avenue. The vehicle was stopped for speeding, going 52mph on Washington Avenue. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he was processed and later released to a sober party.

On 11/19/15 @ 10:51pm – A resident of Union resident was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Avenue. The vehicle was stopped for having expired registration and the driver was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was arrested, processed and later posted bail.

On 11/18/15 @ 11:50pm – A Middlesex resident was arrested and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and two counts of contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Front Street. The vehicle was stopped after a plate check revealed the registered owner had a suspended license and two outstanding warrants for his arrest. During the stop, an odor of marijuana was detected and a clear sandwich bag containing marijuana was found in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested, processed and later posted bail.

On 11/17/15 @ 8:04pm – A Dunellen resident was arrested and charged with three counts of harassment after investigation revealed evidence of her leaving dolls at or near the victim’s residence on three separate occasions which had vulgar writings on them. The suspect was processed and later released.

On 11/14/15 @ 1:54am – A Piscataway resident was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Avenue. The vehicle was stopped for speeding and the driver was found to have a suspended license and an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was arrested, processed and later turned over to Middlesex County Jail for his warrant.

On 11/13/15 @ 9:13pm – A Piscataway resident was arrested and charged with six counts of contempt of court after patrol was notified of a male with various warrants out for his arrest in a North Avenue business. The suspect was located and arrested without incident. He was processed and transported to Piscataway Police Department on one of his numerous warrants.

On 11/13/15 @ 1:25am – A New Brunswick resident was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on North Avenue. The vehicle was stopped for driving all the way to the right of the road and almost striking the curb and a tree. The driver was unlicensed and intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to headquarters where he was found to be over triple the legal limit. He was processed and later released to a sober party.

On 11/12/15 @ 8:19pm – A Parlin resident was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on New Market Road. The vehicle was stopped for the registered owner having a suspended license. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he was processed and later posted bail.

On 11/8/15 @ 2:13am – A North Plainfield resident was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on North Avenue. The vehicle was stopped for speeding on South Washington Avenue and for swerving into the opposite lane of travel on North Avenue. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he was processed and later released to a sober party.

On 11/7/15 @ 2:11am – A Plainfield resident was arrested and charged with DWI and six counts of contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Avenue. The vehicle was stopped for speeding and for the registered owner having a suspended license. The driver was found to be intoxicated and had warrants from six different jurisdictions out for his arrest. He was arrested, processed and later turned over to Plainfield Police Department for outstanding warrants.

On 11/6/15 @ 2:17am – A Bronx, NY resident was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Avenue. The vehicle was stopped when a plate check revealed that the vehicle had suspended registration. The driver was found to have an active warrant for her arrest. The suspect was processed and later posted bail.

On 11/5/15 @1:15am – A Piscataway resident was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped when a plate check revealed that the driver had a suspended license and an active warrant. The driver was arrested, processed and later posted bail.

On 11/2/15 @ 12:46am – A Piscataway resident was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Avenue. The vehicle was stopped because the registered owner was showing an active warrant for his arrest. The driver was arrested, processed and later released.

On 11/1/15 @ 12:43am – An Orange resident was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Road. The vehicle was stopped for speeding. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he gave breath samples and was found to be over double the legal limit. He was processed and later released to a sober party.
