Bonnie Watson Coleman to distribute tickets to Pope’s live broadcast

U.S. Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman is offering residents of Dunellen the chance to attend a live broadcast of Pope Francis’ address to a joint session of Congress on September 24, 2015. This marks the first time the head of the Roman Catholic Church has done such an event. The tickets to the standing room only program on the West Lawn of the Capitol will be distributed through a lottery system.

“This is a truly incredible moment in history, and an amazing opportunity to take part in it. I’m thrilled to be able to offer this chance to my constituents,” said Watson Coleman. “While the Pope has expressed interest in making an appearance on the West Lawn, tickets do not guarantee the opportunity to see Pope Francis in person.”
