Nearly $10K raised for American Heart Association

Faber School students and Dunellen school staff participated in “Jump Rope for Heart” and “Wear Red for Women” which are sponsored by the American Heart Association.

According to gym teacher, Sue Gavin, “this is a great annual event that helps students realize how they can help others and make a change in the world. This event also allows students to learn about heart health and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.”

The students participated in a variety of heart healthy exercises during gym classes and along with school staff, raised over $9,500 to help the American Heart Association fund research and educational initiatives.
