Middlesex County 4-H Open House Oct 2

The Middlesex County 4-H Open House will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the 4-H Youth Center, located at 645 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick.

Though typically thought of as an agriculturally focused organization as a result of its history, 4-H today focuses on citizenship, healthy living, science, engineering and technology programs for youth grades K through 13.

Attendees will have the chance to observe animal and dance demonstrations throughout the event. There will also be opportunities to speak with current 4-H members and volunteer leaders, so children can join some of the over 30 clubs that best reflect their interests and adults can volunteer to help the groups best suited to their skills.

For more information on the Open House, please contact the Middlesex County 4-H office at 732-398-5261. For more information on local 4-H clubs, visit www.middlesexcountynj.gov and search 4H.
