“I have spent the summer out visiting with people in our community to learn more about their struggles, frustrations and priorities. What I have learned is disheartening, but not without hope. What many of you have told me is that our state, with its high taxes and lack of good paying jobs, is quickly becoming unaffordable for your family and neighbors. The result, unfortunately, is that New Jersey is the highest exodus state in our country. I do believe that we can fix these problems and make New Jersey an affordable place to live and raise a family again… but I need your help! We cannot afford to send the same rubber stamp politicians…who consistently double down on the failed policies of tax increases…whose self serving focus is on enriching themselves at our expense… and who seem not to care, back to
Trenton for one more day.
- This year, we need to hold Democrats Linda Stender and Jerry Green accountable to the unemployed New Jerseyans for their excessive red tape and regulations which force companies and businesses to relocate to other states, slashing the quantity of honest jobs that pay an honest day’s wage.
- This year, we need to hold Democrats Linda Stender and Jerry Green accountable for their 115 tax increases and failed policies which have made New Jersey one of the least affordable states in our country.
- This year, we need to hold Democrats Linda Stender and Jerry Green accountable to the school children of New Jersey for their ongoing school funding fiasco, which only serves to enrich their donors while failing to improve the quality of education for the least among us.
It will not be easy and unfortunately, nothing will change without your help. But without your help, the results will be the same as they have been for the last twenty years. Taxes will continue to go up uncontrollably, jobs will continue to leave the state and New Jersey will no longer be affordable for many to live and raise their family.
It’s time we send politicians like Linda Stender and Jerry Green home…not back to Trenton. They have proven time and again that either they don’t understand how to fix the problems… or, they don’t really care enough to try.
