“Dear Dunellen residents:
My name is Faith Thompson and I am running for the Board of Education. I
have been a resident of Dunellen for 25 years. I am married to John
Hunnewell and we have two daughters, Abigail and Laurel. Abigail
graduated from DHS in 2014 and is a sophomore at the University of
Delaware. Laurel is currently an 8th grader at Lincoln Middle School.
I have been involved with the Dunellen Schools since my oldest daughter
started Kindergarten at Faber Elementary in 2001; volunteering in
various capacities, including 15 years as a PTO member – serving 2 years
as PTO President and a total of 5 years on the PTO Board. I
also worked as a substitute teacher in all three schools in the district
for 5 years. I am a Girl Scout Leader, a Drama Parent member and have
assisted the Dunellen Education Foundation with their 5k race
fundraiser.
I have a degree in Education from Boston College and taught second
grade. I would like to take the next step in contributing to the
education of our children and hope that you will consider supporting me
for a position on the Dunellen Board of Education. Please vote on
