Just three months after the nearby Pathmark closed its doors for good, Superfood Marketplace officially opens its today, February 27, 2016. Superfood Marketplace completely renovated the nearly 25,000 square-foot space that was previously occupied by Walgreens at 738 Union Avenue, Middlesex, NJ. In addition to packaged goods and produce, the store also features a butcher’s station and deli department. Although the store has been open for a few weeks, the grand opening celebration is from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm today with welcome remarks from 12 noon to 12:30pm.
