The Middlesex County Clerk’s Office will be open during special weekend hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26 to process U.S. Passport applications. The Middlesex County Clerk’s Office is joining the U.S. Department of State in celebrating Passport Awareness Month. “We are pleased to offer this service for those residents who would like to apply for a U.S. passport for their fall and winter travel, but find it difficult to take time off from work or to take children out of school during the week,” said Middlesex County Clerk Elaine M. Flynn. In addition to processing passports on this special event, the County Clerk’s Office will also be administering Notary oaths to those who have applied to the State of New Jersey to become a Notary Public and have already received their commission back from the State.
