I would like to put an end to one party control of Middlesex County Board of Freeholders. For the past 21 years this one party control has resulted in continuous tax increases and wasteful spending. One good example is the Middlesex County Business administrator John Pulomena who is being paid $231,232.00 per year. He is the highest paid county administrator in the state. We need to end patronage payments to former freeholders like John Pulomena but it will only end if Republicans are elected to the Middlesex County Board of Freeholders. Continue Reading →

I have called Dunellen my home since 1988. My children were born at Muhlenburg Regional Medical Center and benefited from the Dunellen public school system. I became involved in town functions when my oldest daughter was four years old. From coaching T-ball, running the T-ball League, coaching girls softball, and also serving as president of the Dunellen Little League. It has been my pleasure to have served this community and an honor to have worked alongside other Dunellen residents who gave so freely of their time as well. Continue Reading →
Dunellen mayor Robert Seader was among the first hundred New Jersey political figures to personally endorse New Jersey’s Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno as the Republican Party’s gubernatorial candidate. He was joined by two other Middlesex County mayors: Owen Henry of Old Bridge and Kennedy J. O’Brien of Sayreville. Guadagno’s representatives have since released two more lists of endorsements, adding two additional Middlesex County mayors: Matthew Anesh of South Plainfield and John Krenzel of South River. Of the six Republican-led municipalities in Middlesex County, only one other Republican mayor has not provided an endorsement, Cranbury’s David Cook. In addition to Seader, Guadagno has also received nods from Borough Councilman Jason Cilento and Dunellen GOP Municipal Chair Harry Buttito Jr., as well as many of Middlesex County’s GOP Organization Leaders including:
Lucille Panos, Middlesex County GOP Chairwoman
Sylvia Engel, Middlesex County GOP Vice-Chair/Edison Republican Chair
Rod Kulp, Middlesex County GOP Treasurer
April Bengivenga, Middlesex County GOP State Committeewoman
Don Katz, Middlesex County GOP State Committeeman
Roger Daley, Former Middlesex County Freeholder
Jeff Pino, Middlesex County GOP Regional Vice Chair

“My name is Doug Meyer. I am running for the Dunellen Board of Education for one of the full 3 year terms. My wife Karen and I moved to Dunellen shortly after our first child was born. We have raised 4 children in Dunellen and watched them grow and learn in the Dunellen Public Schools, from Kindergarten right through DHS, where our youngest son is now a junior. I have spent more than 30 years teaching in public schools in 3 states, and in 4 counties in New Jersey. I have taught music at every grade level since 1983, and taught computers before that. “A little bit about my background and history, I have been a resident of Dunellen for 45 years. I myself went through the Dunellen School system from the Whittier School, to Faber School, and then to Dunellen High School (’88). I participated in sports while in school which included football, basketball, and track. I also was a member of the marching band, the choir and was an active actor in many of the school musical productions. I had a great education and school experience and wish for all the students in the district to have the same. Continue Reading →
