Dunellen High School (DHS) was recently ranked by U.S. News & World Report as #987 out of 19,400 public high schools in the United States (#36 out of 398 in New Jersey). This places DHS as one of the top 5% of public high schools in the country. The rankings were based on the individual school’s performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college. Only four other schools in a ten-mile radius were also recognized. Two received gold status: Ridge High School (Basking Ridge, NJ), ranked #177 nationally and #7 in NJ; and Chatham High School, ranked #209 nationally and #9 in NJ. Continue Reading →

Under the Direction of Barbara Gianotto and Assistant Direction of Sandra Spano, our gallant guy-in-green tries his best to help the needy as he swaggers through “The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood”. This time around, the legendary legend Robin Hood (Paul Kazalski, Bound Brook), encounters a lovely damsel-in-distress the Lady Marian (Kelly Maizenaski, Middlesex) who has an odd obsession with skin conditions; an ever-scheming Sheriff (Will Rider, Manville) who would rather bowl a strike than hit a bull’s-eye; a gold-hoarding, bad-guy monarch wannabe Prince John (Tom Hickey, Bloomfield); and a good-natured “Town’s Guy” (Mark Noble, Green Brook) who manages to make his way into every scene, whether he belongs there or not. Combine them a band of spoon-wielding Merry Men whose collective IQs equal six, and you’ve got an irreverent jaunt through Sherwood Forest you won’t soon forget!
