According to the N.J.S.A. 19:23-24, the upcoming ballot drawing for the 2017 Primary Election is scheduled to fall on Good Friday, a legal holiday observed by State, County and Local Government Offices on April 14, 2017.
In view of this, County Clerks’ Offices throughout the State, including the Middlesex County Clerk’s Office, will hold the ballot drawing for the 2017 Primary Election at 3 p.m. on the following business day — Monday, April 17 — in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:11 that permits for such exceptions.
The public may attend the drawing, however, no video recording will be permitted during the drawing of the ballot.
