Middlesex County’s Roosevelt Park Family Ice Skating Rink opened for its thirteenth season on Friday, November 20. The rink is located at the Level Playing Fields Complex inside the County’s Roosevelt Park, which is adjacent to Menlo Park Mall in Edison.
Per session admission is $6 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and children 17 and under. Discounts are available for multi-session passes and groups. Residents can sign up for accredited group or private lessons. The rink is available for birthday parties and private events. Skates can be rented in sizes ranging from toddler 8 to adult size 15 for $5 a session. Helmets are for sale. Skate sharpening and locker rentals are also available.
Hours of operation are: Wednesdays to Fridays, 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturdays and holidays, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (session 1), 2 to 5 p.m. (session 2), 6 to 9 p.m. (session 3); Sundays, Noon to 3 p.m. (session 1), 4 to 7 p.m. (session 2). The rink is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
